Neil,
On my inspection to your site on Monday, January 26, it was noted that sediment from the adjoining dog area and from
the stored barrels was entering the storm catch basin. After discussion with staff, it was determined that an acceptable
solution to this issue would be installing a catch basin insert sock usually used for catch basin protection during
construction. This would help reduce the discharge into the storm and into the marsh. Please provide an alternate plan
to prevent this problem or install an insert sock and call for a reinspection.
I will be contacting the dog daycare owners and requesting they provide some barrier between your properties to catch
the sediment on their site from entering the storm system.
