Lester driveway replacement

Project overview:
• Replace existing concrete driveway and expand slab. Proposed area is highlighted in yellow on
attached site plan drawings.
• New square footage is 1310 sg ft (less than 2000 sq ft which would require additional city storm
water run off planning). Site plan shows perimeter measurements.
• New ROW will not exceed allowable 24 ft per 2 car garage for residence requirement
• This project replaces 1/2 of the curb cut (other half was replaced recently) - again, total length
of driveway approach will not exceed 24 ft. Street paving material to be replaced per protocol.
• Curb cut type will be exactly as existing (i.e. curb gutter or not)
• The driveway will remain 24ft wide until the five feet buffer required to get onto private
property to satisfy easement requirements. After the five feet requirement has been met, the
slab will extend northward to create additional parking slab.
• Material to be used is Concrete
• Will add vegetation or other landscaping immediately behind the curb north of the driveway for
a width of 5 feet or to the property line (whichever is greater), so as to deter driving over the
vertical curb.
Safety:
• Three large orange cones will be set at each end of the project and one in the middle. Yellow
caution construction tape will be hung between orange cones.
