Below are responses to the review comments from your memo dated December 6, 2012.
General
1. We have updated values on the cost estimate to reflect both sidewalk and saw -cut costs.
Please note that the standard King County Cost estimate is locked for editing. We have
accounted for the 5.5" sidewalk section in the 5.0" sidewalk row in the spreadsheet. The
area that is listed is the area of the 5.5" sidewalk multiplied by 5.5/5. We understand that
bonds will be required and will issue at a later date.

Stormwater Drainage Report
1. A CDS unit has been added to the design prior to the infiltration chambers. CDS units
have received "General Use" designation by Washington DEQ.

hand of the sheet, which takes into account the need to retain sidewalks and paving until
necessary.

1. This is a general construction sheet, which is a part of the client's prototypical plan set
and has been approved as shown in multiple jurisdictions throughout the United States.
We have been asked not to alter the detail numbering and sheet name in order to satisfy
Walgreens requirements. If the City of Edmonds will permit, we would like to retain the
sheet name and detail numbering shown.

1. The note calling out "construct curb..." has been updated to "construct cement concrete
traffic curb."
2. it is assumed that this comment was in reference to the curb ramps which were
previously shown. These have been omitted from the plans.

1. This sheet is not standard to Walgreens requirements. We have updated the detail
numbering as requested.

Building Division Comments
3. Detail 8 has been updated to reflect 44" requirement.
Fire Marshall Comments
1. The NE corner of the site is capable of providing turning accommodations of 20' inside
radius and 40' outside radius. An exhibit was forwarded to John Westfall, and is attached
to the end of this document.
2. Please see note on the right hand side of sheet C-100, which details the requirements
for fire lane striping.
3. Double check detector location is shown on sheet C-100, to the south of the future bank.
4. Post protection is now provided per detail on sheet C-543.
