The Fire Department has the following comments based on the ECDC and the 2009 International
Fire Code;
1) Please submit plans for the indoor burn pit/dinning area. Refer to the 2009 IFC Chapters 308,
603, and the 2009 International Mechanical Code. The product must be listed and approved for it’s
particular use with safety shields in place to keep patrons from burning themselves.
