City of Edmonds — Sean Conrad
Re Lot line adjustment
With respect to the above property, we intend to undertake a lot line adjustment between
our home and the house directly to the north, which will result ire a net gain of square
footage for our property to the north and west. In turn, our neighbors lot will increase
directly to the south.

Dear Sean,

As you know, I am the General Contractor for a project at the Graves residence located
at 8028 Cyrus PI, Edmonds, and I am the applicant for the building permit.
The building inspector has brought to my attention that the positioning of the new
structure maybe protruding into the allowable 10' setback. However, the Graves
and their next door neighbors to the North are in the process of getting a lot line
adjustment, which will remove all doubt as to the location of our structure. They
have retained the services of a surveyor and they are waiting for his report. When
they get that they fully intend to apply for the LLA with the City of Edmonds.
We are asking for permission to proceed with drywall. I am fully aware that we will
need to prove that our building addition does not encroach into the setback before
we get final approval from the City of Edmonds.
Sincerely,
Brian Bate
