Dear Mr. and Mrs. Samora,
As you may be aware, there was a permit application submitted for work done prior to
obtaining permits on the subject property noted above. We have received communication
from the prior owner that you have purchased the home and are therefore responsible for
obtaining the proper permits.
In order to avoid possible code enforcement actions, the following corrective actions are
necessary by August 25, 2019
• Submit the required items noted on the attached correction letter. The old
application has expired but we have notified the previous owner that he has 30
days to submit these to be in compliance. Note that it may be possible to re -use
some of the materials previously submitted. You are welcome to come in and
review these.
• A second option would be to remove the structures in question (See attached
correction letter). If you choose to remove the structures, a demo permit with
applicable inspections will be required.
Included, is the latest correspondence from our Planning Department for items needed to
obtain compliance. This permit application also included interior work, which has gone
through review approval but still requires permit approval and inspections.
