Before I can sign off on the staff report and endorse the map, however, two corrections are needed. 1) Geotechnical Notes. On the lower left hand corner of Page 1 of the amended LLA map, two geotechnical notes are included. These appear to be intended for the proposed short plat rather than the LLA amendment, particularly Note 1. Please remove the entire `geotechnical notes' section from the LLA amendment map to avoid confusion between the two projects. 2) Record of Lot Line Adjustment. The first paragraph of text currently reads: "This is to certify that a lot line adjustment was reviewed and approved by the City of Edmonds for the properties as shown and described in this map as provided for under the provisions of the Edmonds Subdivision Ordinance (Sec 20.75) File LLA -02-X. The lots shown are subject to the conditions of approval for subdivision file #S-95-163 and appeal file #AP -96-21." Due to the confusion that has existed regarding previous filings and amendments, please add the following text (in italics): "This is to certify that a lot line adjustment was reviewed and approved by the City of Edmonds for the properties as shown and described in this map as provided for under the provisions of the Edmonds Subdivision Ordinance (Sec 20.75) File LLA -02-157 (AFN4200409175157), as amended. The lots shown are subject to the conditions of approval for subdivision file #S-95-163 (AFN# 9902035001 and, as amended, AFN#200205315007) and appeal file 4AP-96-2 L" As mentioned before, the LLA amendment is being processed as a change to an approved lot line adjustment, which is a staff decision requiring a $130 fee. When you bring in the maps showing the changes requested, please bring the fee so I can finish that portion of the project. Once I receive the final corrected LLA map and language, Jeanie and I can sign off and you can file that with the County. We'll need two copies of the Auditor-endorsed LLA for our files. At the same time, we are continuing to review the proposed short plat (5-08-77). Based on our internal review, I anticipate having some additional comments on that project within the next week.
