Subject: REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR YOUR LAND USE APPLICATION
LOCATED AT 9921 & 9947 WATER STREET, FILE NO. PLN20110011

The City of Edmonds has reviewed your land use application for a lot line adjustment located at 9921 and 9947
Water Street for completeness pursuant to Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC) 20.02.002. Although
your application automatically became complete on May 13, 2011, additional information is needed before review of
the application can continue. Please respond to the following items at your earliest convenience so that staff's
review of your application can continue:
1. Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC) 20.02.002.E requires a written statement to be submitted
with the application addressing all applicable standards, requirements and criteria in the development
regulations. In particular, the written statement should address the proposal's compliance with ECDC
20.75.050. Please submit a statement addressing this requirement.
2. The title report submitted with the application was prepared on April 6, 2011, which complies with the
procedural requirement that the title report be prepared within 30 days of submittal. However, the western
parcel (Lot I of the subdivision recorded under AFN 201101185002) was subsequently sold to Mr. and
Mrs. Read. The current ownership must be reflected in the title report that is on file with the lot line
adjustment application. Therefore, please provide an updated title report to reflect current ownership of
Parcels A and B of the proposed lot line adjustment.
3. Since Ms. MacDonald now owns only one of the lots of the subject application and the other lot is owned
by Mr. and Mrs. Read, the Read's information must also be provided on the land use application form. You
may submit a second land use application form, or you may include the Read's information on a copy of the
land use application form that was submitted with the application. At a minimum, the Read's mailing
address and phone number must be provided, and Mr, or Mrs. Read must sign the property owner's
authorization on the application form.
Please note that your application will be placed on hold until a response is received regarding the above items,
Pursuant to Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC) 20.02.003.1), you must submit the above information
within 90 days. Thus, your application will expire if the requested information is not received by August 16, 2011.
