(Subdivision File #20150063) Engineering Site Plan Construction Evaluation Letter Phone: 425-775-1591 LSAEngineering.com Consultants July 8, 2016 LSA No. 5465 Per Mr. Bob Setting's request, LSA is pleased to provide the following professional engineering evaluation of the proposed footing drain system for the Rotary Club 2 -lot Plat at 8116 206'h Street SW. The engineering site plan included the installation of footing drain discharged into the drywell for lot 2., During the course of construction activity, footing drain pipe slope was installed at 6% instead of 7.5% as indicated on the construction plan. Per the "Geotechnical Investigation" prepared by Liu & Associates, Inc., dated May 20, 2014, groundwater was not encountered by the test pits (TP -1 @ 7.0 feet deep, and IT -1 @ 8.0') excavated on the site. Per the "Footing Drain Discharge" prepared by Liu & Associates, ltic., dated August 18, 2014, based on the subsurface condition encountered by the test pits, the amount of groundwater, if any, to be collected into footing drain of the proposed residence will be insignificant. Therefore, the footing drain discharged into the drywell at 6% pipe slope will be adequate and acceptable to dispose water in footing drain.
