During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Provide written responses to each comment and where
changes can be found on the plans. Please resubmit to Marie Harrison, Permit Coordinator.
1.Provide 2 accessible parking stalls and accessible route of travel to the public sidewalk (IBC
1106, 1103, 1104). Provide dimensioned parking stall detail (including signage), and note the
width and slope of the accessible route from the parking stalls to the public way.
2.Provide bottom wall elevations for the proposed retaining wall.
3.Provide structural calculations and details stamped and signed by the EOR for the proposed
retaining wall. Calculations must include imposed surcharge.
4.Provide structural calcs and details stamped and signed by the EOR for the steel stair.
5.Note on the coversheet that the shop drawings for the stairway must be submitted to the City.
6.Note on the steel stair detail and tread detail that the open riser must be less than 4 (IBC 1009.3
exception 1).
