During review of the subject submittal it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications will need to be addressed:
1.The proposed sign location will be over the City sidewalk. A separate Street Use Permit is required to place
a sign over the City sidewalk.
Please refer to City handout #E75 - Street Use Permit on the City’s website www.ci.edmonds.wa.us
Select the Development Services Department and then Engineering Division. The Street Use Permit
Application can be found within the handout.
Please pay particular attention to the insurance requirements to ensure a complete submittal.
2. This storefront also has a temporary (pole and fabric) awning that hangs over the sidewalk. It also needs a
Street Use permit and can be combined with the sign. Also if you intend to put a planter outside the door, that
will need to be included in the Street Use permit too.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. Please
