The following are the responses to the permit plan drawing set comments received from Mike
Clugston, Senior Planner at the City of Edmonds. Each revision is shown clouded and
enumerated with a triangle symbol #1 on the drawings, as follows below. Please note that
there are also revisions on the site plan A1.0 sheet with a similar call out that refer to revisions
requested by the Building Division.
1a) Type V landscaping has been added to parking stalls 7-19 as shown on L1.0.
1b) Type III landscaping has been shown as added to areas that currently do not meet
this standard on the north and south property lines as shown on L1.0.
1c) A cost estimate for landscaping associated with the permit is attached.
2. A pathway from 76th Avenue West to the Mazda Service Center is shown on A1.0. In
addition, a pathway to the Mazda Sales building is shown to the south of the Mazda
Service Center. A portion of the pathway that will connect to the new Hyundai Sales and
Service building (under separate building permit) will be constructed as part of this
phase of work, and which travels through the amenity space to the north of the Mazda
Service Center as shown on A1.0.
3. Lighting fixture locations have been shown for mast and bollard type illumination
along internal pedestrian paths on A1.0. A schedule for all exterior lighting has also been
added.
