Further construction approval is subject to the Engineering Program Manager, and is not implied in this notice. Prior to construction, post notice of pending activity per item #3 of Construction Sequence. 1. In order to establish the frontage storm tightline and install construction access, permission granted to divert the incoming stormwater in the ditch from the SE corner of the lot across the street into the ditch along the south side of the roadway. The conveyance hose shall be protected by temporary ramps, the ramps securely attached to the road surface, and signed both at the ramp and approaching the ramps a distance of 200 feet in both directions. During this construction, hay bales configured into weir systems shall be installed per plan to ensure that runoff from the property shall be below the state-established maximum turbidity levels. Temporary erosion control shall be maintained on the downhill side of the construction entrance at all times until the entrance is completed. 2. The clearing and grading limits shall be identified, flagged, and fenced. The silt fence along the lower perimeter of the property shall be installed. Take care the the fence does not excessively channel or concentrate runoff. Judicious use of quarry spalls, sand bags, and other energy dissipators can accomplish this. 3. Perimeter protection and source-control interception of incoming surface water per item #7 of Construction Sequence shall be installed and clean water diverted around the site. 4. Sediment weirs, ponds, and traps shall be in place prior to clearing / grubbing, It is highly recommended to leave as much ground as possible in its natural state until immediately prior to its use in construction. Proper phasing of construction activities is important. It’s easier to keep water clean than to get it clean. 5. Follow Construction Sequence from Item #8 onward, subject to the approval of the Engineering Program Manager. DATE E-MAILED 3/3/08 PAGE(s) 1/1
