The City of Edmonds Building Division has performed a preliminary building code review of the
plans that were submitted under the referenced application number, and have the following
comments.
1. Building permits will be required for the following, as applicable: New multifamily
construction; modifications to or demolition of existing structures.
2. It appears the structures will be designed under the IBC, and will need to incorporate all
accessibility requirements found in IBC chapter 11.
3. Park Impact fees will be assessed for each new dwelling unit at a rate of $2340.16 each.
The overall fee may be reduced provided the new construction occurs within one year of
the demolition of the old structure.
