Dear Michel Construction,
The City received a request for code enforcement regarding noncompliant signs at the
subject property noted above. An inspection showed two permanent off premises real
estate signs that do not meet the requirements of the Real Estate Sign Code (ECDC
20.60.065)
A copy of the sign code with the pertinent sections highlighted is enclosed.
Only portable freestanding signs may be used as temporary off-premises signage. The
maximum allowable sign area for all temporary off-premises freestanding signs is six
square feet. The maximum allowable sign height for all permitted off-premises signs is
three feet.
Corrective actions required by November 1, 2006:
Please remove the referenced signage. Please review and comply with the
enclosed real estate sign code before placing future real estate signage.
