During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator.
1.Provide information about the drains for the proposed retaining walls. This would include
material, size, inverted elevations and points of termination.
2.With the additional proposed parking spaces there will need to be one additional accessible
parking stall per IBC 1106.5. It will need to include the following:
a.Be van accessible per IBC 1106.5, due to the fact that it appears that none of the
existing ADA parking is van accessible
b.Be on the shortest accessible route to the buildings accessible entrance per IBC
1106.6
c.Show the accessible route including striping and curb ramp details.
d.The slope of the accessible parking stall cannot exceed 1:48 per ICC/ANSI A117.1
e.Provide parking signage details
