Nasa letter Ex B.pdfOctober 20, 2010 City of Edmonds 1215 1h Ave. N. Edmonds, WA 98020 Attn: Mr. Mike Clugston, AICP RE: PLN -2010-0060 Dear Mr. Clugston: DEVELOPMENT SERVICES We live at 557 Paradise Lane, across the street and about one half block down from 620 Edmonds Way. This property is within view from our house, in fact the empty lot just west of the bank property has trees that help buffer and separate this business property and SRI 04 from our single family neighborhood. We have concerns with the request being made for several reasons. We are concerned that moving the bank building closer to the single family neighborhood could be detrimental to property values with a business more visible from our homes. I was told that the building would no longer be one story but would have a partial second story thus making it more visible. Another concern is removal of trees on this property or the vacant property next to the bank—I believe it is owned by the bank. The trees buffer the single family neighborhood from the business and also from the noise and view of SRI 04. Again, removal of trees could potentially lower single family property values since the highway could be viewed and more noise heard. We appreciate the opportunity to voice our concerns. Thank you very much. Sincerely, 4'irAj Diane & Takashi Nasa 557 Paradise Lane Edmonds, WA 98020
