Re Consent to Cedar Tree Removal
Dear City of Edmonds:

We are the owners of the residential property located at 1011 — 12th Avenue North in Edmonds.
Our neighbors to the north, Mark Bailey and Deb Silhacek at 1015 — 12th Avenue North, have
submitted an application for a building permit to construct a shoring wall and patio. We
understand that the plans contemplate the removal of various trees on the property, and that one
of the trees identified for removal appears to be a tree that may be located in whole or in part on
the north side of our property. The tree is identified on Studio 342's drawings, Sheet L-1 Ex.
Conditions/Tree Removal Plan with the notation "ex. 14" Thuja plicata (topped w/ multiple
leasers) to be removed Cut stump off 12" above grade and leave root system intact"
We hereby consent to the removal of that tree, and authorize our neighbors and their agents to
remove the tree as part of the shoring wall and patio project.
