Nicholson/Norberg Short Plat Fines
Hi there,
I just wanted to let all of you know that Vince Norberg paid his and Tom Nicholson's fines yesterday for
violating the tree cutting conditions on their short plat (S-05-126) on 104th Ave. W. Duane said that you
can continue processing the building permit applications for Lots 1, 2, and 4, but make sure that they
submit clearing/replanting plans prior to final approval. They are required to plant 30 new trees between
these three lots, so I guess we'll need to do some coordinating among the building permits to make sure
that this is done.
If you want to quote Duane's letter dated July 7th when you send out your next corrections letter, here's
the part that refers to the replanting: "In addition to the aforementioned fine, you will also be required to
submit clearing plans for each of the four lots showing the currently remaining trees, and any further tree
removal you plan to do. Further, 30 new trees shall be planted on Lots 1, 2, and 4 prior to final approval
of the construction of any homes on these lots. Planting plans shall be submitted to the Planning
Division for review and approval."
Let me know if you have any questions!
Jen
