RE: Storefront Submittal
To Leif Bjorback and Kristin Johns,
Venture Construction will be meeting with either Milton Thompson or Eric Carter to review
attached submittal. Doors 101 & 102 need to be replaced to accommodate the new
hardware. We propose to:
Replace Door-101 and the 18" wide storefront on either side of the door.
- Replace Door-122 .
According to the Washington State Energy Code Table 402.4, the new storefront system
should have a maximum 0.38 of U-Factor and the new entry door should have a maximum of
0.60 of U-Factor. We have attached the product data from the NFRC Directory showing both
the new storefront system and the doors are meeting the code requirement.
- The double swing entrance door's U-Factor is 0.55 < 0.60 as code required.
- the U-Factor for storefront system is 0.37 < 0.38 as code required.
We are requesting one of the site inspectors approve these changes.
Thank you for your consideration.

Revisions:
Attached submittal shows the details of the proposed storefront system and the U-Factor.
The new storefront system at Door 101 will match existing elevation. The new Door 122 will
match the existing look of the door as well. The attached document shows the U-Factor for
storefront system is 0.37 < 0.38 as code required. The double swing entrance door's U-Factor
is 0.55 < 0.60 as code required.
