Northpoint_Storefront Submittal_12-12-2018.pdfSALUS HEALTHCARE ARCHITECTURE December 12, 2018 Leif Bjorback, Kristin Johns City of Edmonds, Development Services Department 121 5th Ave N Edmonds, WA 98020 Subject: Northpoint Recovery, Remodel of Edmonds Facility Request for Replacing Existing Storefront Permit #BLD2018-0447 RE: Storefront Submittal To Leif Bjorback and Kristin Johns, Venture Construction will be meeting with either Milton Thompson or Eric Carter to review attached submittal. Doors 101 & 102 need to be replaced to accommodate the new hardware. We propose to: Replace Door-101 and the 18" wide storefront on either side of the door. - Replace Door-122 . According to the Washington State Energy Code Table 402.4, the new storefront system should have a maximum 0.38 of U-Factor and the new entry door should have a maximum of 0.60 of U-Factor. We have attached the product data from the NFRC Directory showing both the new storefront system and the doors are meeting the code requirement. - The double swing entrance door's U-Factor is 0.55 < 0.60 as code required. - the U-Factor for storefront system is 0.37 < 0.38 as code required. We are requesting one of the site inspectors approve these changes. Thank you for your consideration. Douglas McNutt Principal — Salus Architecture Encl: Storefront Submittals C: R.
