RE: Plan Check #: 2006-0845
Project: Old Milltown addition and major remodel -- REVISIONS
th
Project Address: 201 5 Ave S.
During re-review of the above noted revisions, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please provide written responses to each comment as to
how it has been addressed (support with code sections where applicable), and where changes can be
found on the plans. Please submit revised plans/documents to Theresa Umbaugh, Permit
Coordinator.
1)Grayline all future phase II work throughout the plans so it is not confused with work under this
permit.
2)Previous item 3 is still required: This was confirmed with the Building Official. New doors 48
and 62 must swing in the direction of travel and have panic hardware.
3)Previous item 6: As previously requested, note needs to reference accessible directional sign.
Provide accessible directional sign at exterior side of door 25 directing to door 22 entrance.
4)Sheet M2 shows exhaust fans 1, 2 & 3 “to be vented up to the second floor and coordinated with
architecturals”. On the architecturals, show where these exhaust fans run through the building to
the exterior and show (with dimensions) that the termination meets IMC 501.2.1, and show that
fire rated assemblies will be maintained (such as with a 1-hour shaft). Continuation of previous
item 11.
The Phase I structural revisions are currently being reviewed with the Phase II plans for
coordination and compliance with code. Additional comments may be forthcoming.
