An inspection was made and it appears that the shed is in the side setback and possibly in the rear setback A building permit is also required for accessory structures over 120 square feet. The subject property is in the RM-1.5 Zone which requires a 10 foot side yard setback and 15 foot rear setback. An accessory structure under 600 square feet can have the rear setback reduced to 5 feet. Eaves may project into the required setback not more than 30 inches. Corrective actions required: Please contact me at your earliest convenience by May 15, 2007 to confirm receipt of this · information and to review the following corrective actions. If the building is over 120 square feet, please submit a complete application and fees for a · building permit by May 31, 2007. A handout is enclosed regarding accessory buildings. Please note that if the building is less than 120 square feet, it will need to be confirmed.
