Thank you for your submittal. I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning
Division and it was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be
addressed before review can continue:
Rockeries:
1. Please provide rockery existing and proposed contours on the site plan. Please be
aware that for setback purposes, the height of rockeries is measured vertically from original grade to
the highest point of the uppermost rock. This figure cannot exceed three feet in the setback area
(because they would then be considered a “structure”). Verifying the “height” of this rockery in the
setback area is the only planning issue that I have found.
Thank you for your cooperation. Please redline plans or submit two sets of revised plans/documents
(affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the above items. Please make all submittals to
the Development Services Permit Coordinator Monday through Friday, 9am to noon or 1pm to 4pm. If
