The subject application has been reviewed but cannot be completed until the following items have been addressed/completed.
The plans propose an Oldcastle Precast 1500 Gravity Grease Interceptor (GGI) to be installed for this project. Pretreatment approves this GGI.
Please provide a spec sheet for the proposed GGI.
The following are installation requirements for the GGI and will be examined on the GGI inspection.
6” PVC lines </entering and exiting the GGI </
Proper venting allowing free air exchange between both chambers</
Brackets supporting all </downlegs in GI. It is very important to secure the downlegs to the vault walls; it may prevent costly repairs in the future. It is recommended to use stainless
steel unistrut bar and 6” clamps to secure pipe
Specific for traffic </
Graded away from the manholes to prevent runoff from entering the GI </
Man hole covers above each </downleg for inspection and maintenance
