The subject application has been reviewed but cannot be completed until the
following items have been addressed/completed. Please submit 3 sets of revised
drawings to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, if required, or a written
response to the review comments to the Development Services Permit Coordinator
and the Pretreatment Reviewer.
Please respond in writing (to the Development Services Permit Coordinator and Cc
Pretreatment by fax or email - note: Email preferred) to the items listed below:
1.Over-all, the 1000 gal interceptor is a good drawing. Below are my
comments:
Generally, I like to see a pipe diameter (in this case, 6 inches)
difference of fall between the inlet and discharge lines. Consult the
manufacturer for minimum fall requirements. In the drawing, I
noticed the inlet and outlet lines on the same elevation.
Stainless steel straps and anchoring – a good source of this material is
stainless steel conduit hanging material.
Please be sure to grade or dam off the run-off away from the grease
interceptor manhole covers.
In the drawing, the baffle is contacting the lid of the grease interceptor.
Normally there is a space between the baffle and the lid of the vessel
for it to vent properly.
2. Please contact me for any questions or assistance.
