On behalf of the Planning Division, I have reviewed the above building permit application. During review
of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications need
to be addressed. Please respond to the following items, so that I can complete my review:
1.Geotechnical Report: A geotechnical report and addendums were completed in conjunction with
the short plat for the subject property (PLN20120021), but none specifically review the proposed
residence. Please provide a geotechnical addendum that specifically reviews the proposed
residence and the required findings in ECDC 23.80.060.A and ECDC 23.80.070.
2.Native Vegetation Plan: Please identify the boundaries of the native vegetation area on the site
plan. It is difficult to determine the houses location in relation to the native vegetation area.
3.Height: Please verify the height limits identified on the elevation plans. The indicated heights to not
scale appropriately. The distance from the average grade (281) to the maximum allowable height
(306) scales out to 22.5 feet at the locations indicated on the plan (should scale to 25 feet). The
overall distance from EF 274 to the maximum allowable height of 306 would be 32 feet, but this
distance scales to 29.5 on the elevation views.
Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday,
and Friday between 8:00 am 4:30 pm or Wednesday 8:30 am to 12:00 pm.
