Engineering has reviewed and approved the subject application with the following condition
to be noted in the staff report.
Consistent with the April 6, 2009 memo prepared by Group Four, erosion control measures
for tree planting shall include:
• Plant using shovels; no machinery
• Excavate the minimum area necessary to plant the tree
• Backfill with as much native soil material as possible
• Place 4" of hog fuel mulch in plant pits
