Subject: APPLICATION STATUS —TREE CUTTING PERMIT AT 514 8T' AVE N AND 771 DALEY
STREET (PLN20130014)
Dear Mr. Thuesen,
On June 25, 2014, the City of Edmonds suspended the civil construction plans associated with
PLN20070076 and a conditional use permit for tree cutting (PLN20130014) while their status
was evaluated relative to the temporary construction easement that had expired on March 27,
2014. Next steps were identified and on August 14, 2014, PLN20070076 was reactivated with
your signature on the revised civil plans.
While PLN20070076 has been reactivated, PLN20130014 remains suspended at this time to
allow review of legal issues related to the expiration of the temporary construction easement.
Attached is the bond form to use for satisfying Condition #1 of PLN20130014. It is my
understanding that you are also working to provide the additional insurance information
requested by the City Attorney to satisfy Condition #2 of PLN20130014. Please submit both of
these pieces of information at your convenience.
Should an extension for your conditional use permit be necessary, please submit a cover letter
explaining the circumstances regarding why you were unable to perform the permitted work
within the past year and identify a timeline for completing the work. An extension of up to six
months is possible according to ECDC 18.45.045.0 and the extension request will be processed
as a Type II decision per ECDC 20.05.020.D.
