Pre App Coffee Shop.pdf4 OF EDP O City of Edmonds PRE -APPLICATION COMMENTS BUILDING DIVISION DATE August 8, 2013 STAFF: Leif Bjorback, Building Official RE: Project: Coffee Shop with Drive Through 9801 Edmonds Way A preliminary review was done with the pre -application materials provided and we have the following comments. 1) The City considers the preliminary proposal to be a revision to the currently issued building permit BLD2012-0455. 2) The current building permit expires 5/23/14 and is renewable for up to a total of 3 years. See ECDC 19.00 for renewal conditions. 3) Proposed revisions must substantially retain the original construction type and character of the City approved plans for both structural and non-structural elements to the satisfaction of the building official. 4) Proposed revisions shall be stamped and signed by the current design professionals of record. 5) Proposed revisions shall comply with the 2009 building codes. 6) If applicable, a copy of the Snohomish Health District review letter must be provided for City review prior to issuance of the permit. Any items identified during the SHD review that affect the design of the project must be shown on the plans and reviewed by the City. 7) Contact Steve Fisher, Recycling Coordinator, at 425-771-0235 regarding dumpster enclosure location and size. 8) Contact Linda McMurphy, Cross -connection Control Specialist, at 425-771-0235 regarding premise isolation requirements to protect the public water system.
