The subject application has been reviewed but cannot be completed until the following
items have been addressed or completed.
1. Fully drawn and expanded plumbing plans are required for the approval of this permit.
These color coded plans must show the separation of fixtures connected to the grease trap
(GT) with a dedicated waste line and waste lines not connected to the GT going into the
sanitary drain.
2. Attached to this plan review, in the email, is the GI/GT sizing worksheet that needs to be
completed. You do not need to complete the Grease Interceptor portion since your plans
indicate a GT.
3. When #1 and #2 is completed email requested information to me and submit the same to
your permit coordinator at city hall.
4. These fixtures must be connected to the GT:
Prewash station
Meat prep sink
Pots and pans sink(s)
Three compartment sink. Follow the Health Departments requirements for plumbing
the sanitize compartment.
5. Do not connect to the GT:
Mop sink
Vegetable prep sink
Hand sink
Dishwasher
Floor drains
6. The minimum size GT permitted by the City of Edmonds is 35 gallons.
