I have already removed the sediment sock and cleaned out the structure. This existing structure does not have a base in it. You may want to wait for the inspection until after the backflow is tested. If so, the water division can drop off the valve then, otherwise they will just bring it down Wednesday morning. Recap of our meeting onsite: Scott is going to give 48 hour notices to all the businesses effected by the shut down in his complex and hand deliver the confirmed signatures to Joanne COE. The COE Water department will shut the water main down at 8:00am. Barry Civil will remove the existing vault and single check. Install a 8” valve supplied by the COE water at the property side of the sidewalk. Turn the water back on. We will finish connecting the new system and begin the flushing at 12:00. Hopefully we will have time to hydrostatic test after the flush. If not we will hydrostatic test on Thursday at 8:00 am.
