Provide written responses to each comment and where changes can be found on the plans. Please resubmit to Marie Harrison, Permit Coordinator. 1.Provide written scope of work on the plans. 2.It appears that you are intending the 4 tenant spaces to be shell/core. Please clearly note on the plans for each tenant space. 3.Provide restroom calculations to show that common area restrooms on both floors meet the minimum required (State amendment to IBC Chapter 29). 4.Show location of fire sprinkler room. 5.Label use of all spaces – some are unlabeled. 6.Clearly note at each floor level that the walls of the stair enclosures must extend to the underside of the floor-deck or roof-deck above. 7.Clarify plans to show if you are intending the northwest stair enclosure to be a 1-hour stair enclosure, or if you are using IBC 1019.1 exception 8 or 9 since the building is sprinkled. If it will be a 1-hour stair enclosure, a 1-hour door is required to separate the elevator lobby from the stair enclosure at the main floor. 8.At each stair enclosure, a 60 minute rated door is required to separate the vertical stair enclosure from the horizontal exit passageways and access areas. Please revise. IBC 1019.1 9.On the original plans, the elevator standby power note was removed since the building was fully sprinkled and met the 2003 IBC exception for accessible exits on the new upper floor. If you will now be providing standby power to the elevator, please provide all required information noted in IBC 1007.4. 10.Please incorporate applicable redlined notes made on original approved plans into these plans.
