RE: REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO COMPLETE YOUR
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT, FILE # CU-2008-0040
Dear Mr. DenAdel:
Thank you for submitting the application for a Conditional Use Permit for tree cutting on the
th
Strand property at 17035 76 Avenue West. However, I cannot continue to review the
application until the following materials are submitted in accordance with Chapter 18.45 of the
Edmonds Community Development Code:
A. Application Requirements
1. Vicinity Map and Plot Plan: Please submit a plot plan that meets the requirements
identified below (Plot Plan Requirements). The plot plan submitted is not sufficient to
give a clear indication of where the features are on the site. A revised map(s) could take
the form of a Tree Removal/Tree Replacement Plan.
2. Adjacent property owners list within 300 feet: The Adjacent Property Owners list
submitted at application contained more than 300 names but left out several adjacent or
nearby parcels to the Strands. Please resubmit an accurate APO list containing the
th
names of only those parcel owners within 300 feet of the subject parcel at 17035 76
Avenue West.
3. Tree cut list, specify species and diameter: No list was provided; please have your
arborist provide this information.
4. Schedule of work: No schedule was provided; please have your arborist provide this
information.
5. Future landscaping proposal and timetable for replanting: Two different proposals were
provided but a timetable was not.
B. Plot Plan Requirements (see A1 above)
1. Two plot plans to scale (1 to 20 recommended);
2. Topographical information, existing/proposed grades, tree driplines;
3. Location of existing/proposed structures, driveways, utilities;
4. Areas to be cleared, proposed use for each area;
5. Designation of diseased/damaged trees greater than 6 inches in caliper;
6. Designation of trees to be removed and trees to be retained;
7. Designation of wetlands, streams, and other water courses.
If you have any questions, please contact me at 425-771-0220.
Sincerely,
Mike Clugston, AICP
