Please see the below responses to the correction notice dated June 12, 2018 for 21616 92"d Ave W, plan
check number BLD20180739.
Correction #1
It appears that a 2x4 wall is intended to separate the exercise and lower floor bath, with
the exercise room directly communicating with the garage, which is "unconditioned"
space. To meet the prescriptive requirements of the WSEC, R21 insulation is required
and does not fit into a 2x4 wall. Please clarify and change on the plans.

See revised sheet A4 showing a 2x6 wall between the exercise room and lower floor bath. Exterior
walls separating conditioned space from unconditioned space are called out to have R-21 insulation
per sheet Al.

The man door at the garage is labeled as "20 minute fire door". This door will also
require a self -closing device to the plans. Please add the note to the plans.

See revised sheet A4 noting the self -closing device on the 20 minute fire door.
Correction #3
As indicated on page A5, detail 3/S1.1 is the intended construction for the piers
supporting the steel columns. The supplied structural calculations do not appear to match
the plans. The provided talcs appear to indicate a 20" x 20" base plate and the plans
show a 16"x 1'4". Please clarify and address on the plans.

Detail 4/S1.1 indicates an installation of 5/8"x 18"A.B. Please clarify which type of
A.B. is to be used on the plans.

Correction #5
For clarification, will the welding take place on -site or be fabricated off —site? If the
welding is to take place on -site a Special Inspection Testing Agreement will need to
filled out and returned prior to permit issuance. Please clarify.

Welding and fabrication will take place off -site.
