It is very important to secure the down legs to the vault walls; it may prevent costly repairs in the future. It is recommended to use stainless steel unistrut bar and 6" clamps to secure pipe. ® Manhole lids specific for traffic. ® Graded away from the manholes to prevent runoff from entering the GI. ® Man hole covers above each downleg for inspection and maintenance. Please have the GI installer notify me prior to the setting of the GI. I prefer to be present during the setting of the vessel to eliminate potential problems. Additionally, a water test will need to be conducted, before any backfill, to verify the integrity of the tank.
