GW Auto Rebuilt 2351.0 Highway 99, Edmonds, WA
1. The existing trash pickup location is at the South West end of the Existing Paint Shop (End of Building)
where no enclosure exists. This location shall be relocated to the South West Corner of the new
building, the containers will be located behind the Non -Combustible Steel Building with no Eve on the
West Side of the new building. The containers will sit on a Concrete Pad 5' x 15' to prevent the wheels
of the containers from sinking into the existing asphalt at that location. The South West end of the
Building to the West Property Line will have an 8 Ft. High Cyclone Security Fence and Gate assembly
with Privacy Slats to prevent people from going through the Trash and Recycle Containers and to visually
keep the containers out of sight, as viewed from the South looking North.
2. Due to the fast elevation change at 1 to 1 the property to the West of our West property line looks
over the top of our Building as viewed looking East. There also appears to be a Water Retention Pond
with Forested area both sides of the Retentioned area, making it totally impossible for anyone to view
the West walls of our Building. Therefore we request relief of the Standards for Garbage & Recycle
collection, Enclosure & Access Policy for Design Standards for Commercial and Multi -Family properties.
3. It is agreed that GW Auto will roll the Containers out from behind the,gates to the area of stalls 28 &
29 on Trash and Recycle pickup days and put back the Containers to the approved Locations after
containers are emptied.
4. We have met with Wes Smith (Operations Manager) from Republic Services, and have been provided
with a letter of approval from Republic Services dated 1-23-15.
