JoAnne,
I have made all the corrections listed on your letter of June 7 regarding the various
th
site plan pages you requested for this project. The result is three totally new site
plan pages, organized exactly the way you asked, and the addition of new details on
the basement floor plan and electrical plan to provide for an ejector pump to deal
with the effluent from the basement level bathroom and toilet room.
The one thing on your list that I did not add was the notation about use of the
existing sewer lateral , your item #10h of your list for the Stormwater/Utility Plan.
This is because we have now had the existing lateral inspected, and have been
informed by Public Works that we will not be allowed to hook up to it. They have
approved our plan to hook up to the smaller sewer line up in 74 Ave W., which we
th
can do with a gravity system from the main level of the house, as demonstrated by
the known elevations of the existing sewer line as depicted on our Plan. This will
require use of an ejector pump for dealing with the basement drain likes as noted
above. I have also included a schematic drawing of the ejector pump piping on the
plans.
I find it odd that even though the paved driveway crosses the property line to reach
the paved street, your regulations would forbid the sheet flow dispersion from
following the driveway all the way to the property line? This would be very
counter-productive, but that is the way I have now shown it on the plans, per your
note #18.
Your revision request did not ask for a submittal letter to be submitted therewith,
but Counter Staff have requested such, so here it is.
Thank you,
Ted L. Clifton
