Mr. Linder,
During plan review of your proposed addition/remodel project at 7926 203rd St. it has been discovered that several previous building permits for major alterations to the house are expired
due to the work under those permits never being completed or inspected by the city. City records show that a string of permits beginning with BLD2003-0878 have all expired, with inspections
approving the work only through the exterior sheathing stage. Thus, there appears to be a substantial amount of unfinished work that will need to be permitted along with your current
proposal in order for us to approve your application and ultimately establish occupancy for the entire structure. Your proposal will need to include work sufficient to satisfy the work
remaining under the most recent permit BLD2010-0218 that expired in 2011, and will need to meet current City codes.
As of now, the City considers the review of your application on hold, until we receive the updated documents addressing the scope of work as mentioned above. I strongly suggest we set
up a meeting where we can discuss our findings with you as well as allow you an opportunity to apprise us of any relevant information we may not be aware of regarding the current status
of the structure. Also we would like to help clarify your options moving forward with the project. Please contact me at your earliest convenience to discuss.
