During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at

During a site visit on April 2, 2009 I noticed the area where you intend to place the new driveway.
Due to the small area between the home and the existing fence, I have stopped my review until it
has been verified if there is enough space for a vehicle to pass between the fence and existing
home.

Engineering Plan Review Comments
1)The minimum driveway width is 10’ from the edge of the building structure. Please verify and
show on the site plan that a 10’ driveway can be obtained.
2)Please specify on the plans the turning radii to show vehicles can get in and out of the garage.
3)Please show on the site plan the location of the existing fence. Also, note whether the fence is
to remain or be removed.
Once it has been verified that the driveway requirements can be obtained, then the engineering
division will resume their review and send any additional comments.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised site drawings and associated documents with a written response to
each item to an Engineering Technician. Please contact me at 425-771-0220 ext 1321 or by e-mail at
