Subject: NOTICE REGARDING PEER REVIEW OF GEOTECHNICAL REPORTS FOR
YOUR PROPOSED SHORT PLAT, FILE NO. S-2006-144
Dear Mr. Brown:
Upon reviewing the supplemental information by Soil & Environmental Engineers received on
October 1, 2007 for your proposed four -lot subdivision at 7005 and 7027 — 174' Street
Southwest (File No. S-2006-144), staff has determined that peer review of the geotechnical
reports at the expense of the applicant is required pursuant to Edmonds Community
Developmnet Code (ECDC) 23.40,090.B. Peer review by the City's consultant is being
conducted in order to confirm compliance with ECDC Chapters 23.40 and 23.80 and to confirm
whether the proposed new lots will be able to be safely developed. You will be notified with
the conclusions of the peer review once the City receives a response from our consultant.
