Description of proposal: The subject proposal includes civil improvements as part of a four -lot
subdivision that has obtained preliminary approval (File No. PLN20060144) and future construction of two
new single-family residences. The subject site is located at 7005 and 7027 1741h Street Southwest.
Grading for site improvements and future residences associated with the project includes approximately
1,450 cubic yards of cut and 1,500 cubic yards of fill.

The lead agency has determined that the requirements for environmental analysis and protection have
been adequately addressed in the development regulations and comprehensive plan adopted under
chapter 36.70A RCW, and in other applicable local, state, or federal laws or rules, as provided by RCW
43.21C.240 and WAC 197-11-158 and/or mitigating measures have been applied that ensure no
significant adverse impacts will be created.
An environmental impact statement is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision was
made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead
agency. The SEPA Checklist and DNS are available at www.ci.edmonds.wa.us through the Permits
Online link. Search for file number PLN20060144. These materials as well as the project plans are also
available for viewing at the Planning Division, located on the second floor of Edmonds City Hall, 121 5th
Ave N, Edmonds, WA 98020.
There is no comment period for this DNS.

days from the date below. Comments must be submitted by Mav 19, 2011.

XX MITIGATING MEASURE INCORPORATED INTO THE PROPOSAL:
1. Grading for each of the future homes shall not be conducted until building permits are
issued for these structures. Grading at this time shall only include the grading necessary
to construct the civil improvements associated with the subdivision as approved by the
Engineering Division through their review of the civil plans under File No. PLN20060144.
