and wife, as second party:
WITNESSETH:
THAT WHEREAS first parties are the owners of the following described real
estate in the City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington, to wit:
That portion of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter
of Section 19` Township 27 North, Range 4 East, W.M., described
as follows:
Beginning at u point on the west line of said subdivision that
is 569.91 feet Southerly of the Northwest corner thereof-,

grunt, convey and bestow to the second party and future owners, their hcirs,
successors and assigns, and unto Public Utility District No. l of Snohomish
County, and unto General Telephone Company of the Northwest, Inc.. and unto
Washington Natural Gas Company, and unto the City of Edmonds, a municipal
corporation, an easement for ingress and egress and for the installation,
operation and maintenance of utilities and appurtenances necessary txeratn, over,
under, across, through and upon said PARCEL X and PARCEL Y.
Maintenance of the improvements and utilities constructed or installed within
the easement granted` conveyed and bestowed herein on said Parcel X, shall be
the responsibility of and the costs of said maintenance borne jointly and equally
by the present and future owners, their Ue1rs, shccessor, and assigns of said
Parcel u /n short subdivision No. I-12-83 and Parcels A^ n^ C. a D in Short
Subdivision No. S-36'75 recorded under Auditor's rile no. 2379611.
Maintenance of the improvements and utilities constructed or installed within the
easement gnanted, conveyed and bestowed herein, on said Parcel Y, shall be the
responsibility of and the costs of said maintenance borne jointly and equally by the
present and future owners` their heirs' successors and assigns of said parcel O
in Short Subdivision No. 3-12-83 and Lot 3 in Short Subdivision No. S-11-83.
