During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed.
,1 -)'Please re -label the plans to specify this use of space as unheated storage. In order for it to be a
patio it would need to be completely open on at least two sides.
Provide a site plan showing your mobile home with the addition in relation to the neighbor
mobile homes. If the distance between your addition and the neighbor's mobile home is less
than 6' there will need to be a one hour fire wall along that side of the addition with a
continuous foundation (common firewall construction is 2x4 studs @ 16" O.C..with 518" type X
Gypsum sheathing on the exterior side, protected with tarpaper and siding).
3) Specify how the roof rafters are connected to the 2x6 beams as well as roof slope (2%
minimum), roofing material and how the roof ties into the existing home (flashing.) on the
plans.
4) The framing and foundation of the addition does not meet conventional construction (i.e. roof
and floor beams are overspanned, pier block foundation rather than continuous
footing/foundation around the entire addition, wall bracing, etc.). Change plans to meet
conventional construction or provide calculations stamped and signed by a Washington State
Licensed Professional Engineer.
Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a
written response to each of the above items to a Permit Coordinator.
