DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE
Description of proposal:
The proposal is to construct a new 5-unit multi-family condominimum building
on a lot of approximately 14,294 square feet in the Multiple Residential (RM-2.4) zone. There is a
pending Architectural Design Board (ADB) file for the design review of the project (ADB-2006-149) and

the public hearing will be held on March 7, 2007 at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers (250 5 Avenue
North). The project also proposes to cut approximately 2000 cubic yards of material in order to keep the
building under the height limit.

The lead agency has determined that the requirements for environmental analysis and protection have
been adequately addressed in the development regulations and comprehensive plan adopted under
chapter 36.70A RCW, and in other applicable local, state, or federal laws or rules, as provided by RCW
43.21C.240 and WAC 197-11-158 and/or mitigating measures have been applied that ensure no
significant adverse impacts will be created.
An environmental impact statement is not required under RCW 43.21.030(2)(c). This decision was made
after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency.
This information is available to the public on request.
