RCW 197-11-970 Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS)
Description of proposal: Application for a new single family residence with associated grading not to
exceed 2000 cubic yards of cut or 500 cubic yards of fill. (File No. BLD20100188)
Proponent: Thomas Sheehan
Location of proposal, including street address if any: 18726 Sound View Place (Tax ID#
00434600100700). The site is approximately 320 feet south of the intersection of Sound View Place and
Wharf Street.
Lead agency: City of Edmonds
The City of Edmonds, acting as lead agency for this proposal, has determined that the proposed project
does not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact
statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21 C.030(2)(c). This decision was made after review of a
completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the City. This information is available
to the public on request.
This is not an approval of the proposed action, only a determination of the potential environmental impacts
of the proposal. The City of Edmonds has determined that the environmental impacts are adequately
addressed through the implementation of the City's Comprehensive Plan and the Edmonds Community
Development Code governing land -use standards, construction, clearing, grading and stormwater control,
and critical areas. This determination is issued on the basis of compliance of the proposal with all
applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and standards.
There is no comment period for this DNS.
XX This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2); the lead agency will not act on this proposal
for 21 days from the date below. Comments must be submitted by May 7, 2010.
