DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE
Description of proposal:
“Hanbury Square Townhomes” – The proposal is to construct two new
buildings consisting of seven dwelling units total on a site of approximately 11,856 square feet. The
property is located in the Multiple Residential (RM-1.5) zone. There is a pending Architectural Design
Board (ADB) file for the design review of the project (ADB-2007-65) and the public hearing is scheduled

for October 17, 2007 at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers (250 5 Avenue North). The existing single
family house is to be removed. The anticipated grading is approximately 500 cubic yards of cut and 200
cubic yards of fill for the foundations and driveway. This SEPA determination is to include a future
proposed “townhouse subdivision,” if applicable (File Number ADB-2007-65).

The lead agency has determined that the requirements for environmental analysis and protection have
been adequately addressed in the development regulations and comprehensive plan adopted under
chapter 36.70A RCW, and in other applicable local, state, or federal laws or rules, as provided by RCW
43.21C.240 and WAC 197-11-158 and/or mitigating measures have been applied that ensure no
significant adverse impacts will be created.
An environmental impact statement is not required under RCW 43.21.030(2)(c). This decision was made
after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency.
This information is available to the public on request.
There is no comment period for this DNS.
