to undertake the following development:
The project involves a shoreline conditional use permit to remove existing Pump Station No. 2 from Shell
Creek and to replace it outside the creek, including work within the creek and associated wetlands, on
privately owned property. The project will install approx. 564 linear feet of water line between an existing
water line at Cary Rd. to an existing waterline located near the western terminus of Melody Lane. This will
result in temporary impacts to Shell Creekâs associated wetland and permanent impact to approx. 476
square feet of stream buffer.

significance (RCW 90.58.030). The project will be located within a Natural shoreline environment
designation. The following master program provisions are applicable to this development:
Edmonds Community Development Code (Shoreline Master Program) sections 23.10.060, 23.10.085,
23.10.120, 23.10.130, 23.10.135, 23.10.175, 23.10.210, and 23.10.215.

Development pursuant to this permit shall be undertaken pursuant to the following terms and conditions:
The conditions of approval are listed on page 15 of the decision of the Edmonds Hearing Examiner for
permit PLN20100078 attached hereto.
This permit is granted pursuant to the Shoreline Management Act of 1971 and nothing in this permit shall
excuse the applicant from compliant with any other federal, state or local statutes, ordinances or
regulations applicable to this project, but not inconsistent with the Shoreline management Act (chapter
90.58 RCW).
This permit may be rescinded pursuant to RCW 90.68.140 (7) in the event that the permitee fails to comply
with any condition hereof.
CONSTRUCTION PURSUANCE TO THIS PERMIT WILL NOT BEGIN OR IS NOT AUTHORIZED UNTIL
THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM THE DATE OF FILING AS DEFINED IN RCW 90.58.140(6) AND WAC 173-14-
090, OR UNTIL ALL REVIEW PROCEEDINGS INITIATED WITHIN THIRTY DAYS FROM THE DATE OF
SUCH FILING HAVE TERMINATED; EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN RCW (90.58.140)(5)(a)(b)(c).
