During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. Our handouts can be found online at the City of

Services/Engineering Division.
Please note that site plan and drainage plan must match. May note on site plan “see drainage plan” for
the drainage details, cb invert #s etc. but basic info should be on all plans.
1.6/26/08 Impervious surface calculations on site plan do not match new calculations submitted on
drainage plans. Please revise site plan.

06/26/08 Site plan still shows storm drain line to be used, please revise site plan to show changes
submitted on drainage plan for storm drainage (at least “to be abandon or removed” and “see drainage
plan”)
It is not permitted to build structures over a city storm drain line. In order to build in the location indicated
by the submitted plans, the storm drain pipe will need to be rerouted around the west side of the new
structure. It will be required that a new utility easement be granted the City of Edmonds to access pipe for

maintenance and repair. Please submit a site plan showing a proposed route with all relevant invert and rim
elevations, structures, ditch lines, etc. for review.

06/26/08 A 6” clean out with locking 12” cast iron lamphole cover is required at the property line and a
6 – 4” clean out is required at the house for the side sewer. Please add a note to plans “existing side
sewer lateral will be TV’d by Public Works to determine if in good working condition for reuse”
8.06/26/08 Not Done. Clearly label all areas on site plan. For example, it is difficult to tell if the area
between the garage and driveway is pavement/concrete area or something else.

label “to be removed”.

11.06/26/08 Not Done. Existing fence and gate shown on site plan are in the right of way. Please remove
from right of way or apply for Encroachment Permit. Handout E#26 explains requirements for
Encroachment permit application. This handout can be found on our website following the instructions
above.

of existing house after new construction complete.
