Re: Evavold Residence - Perimeter Footings
We were informed by Brian McCallum, the general contractor at the Evavold Residence project, that the
foundations were mistakenly poured with 16" wide footings rather than 18" wide footings as specified in
the permit drawings.
We have reviewed the project documents and determ,ne that 16" wide perimeter strip footings are
acceptable provided that the soil conditions meet the requirements for bearing as noted in the
geotechnical portion of the general notes on sheet S1.1.
