Confirmed welding personnel qualification and use of proper filler metal. Inspected the natcrials to be used for the field welding and adhesive anchoring. The re -bar onsite was not ASTM A706-weldable and here was not a sufficient amount of epoxy onsite to complete the anchor installations. Departed site while the contractor ;athered the proper materials. Re -arrived onsitc. Performed visual inspection of the re -bar attachment welds to the 2" micro Tiles. As per a phone conversation with the EOR, the bar was to be tack -welded only. The correct grade, size, number, and dimensions of re -bar was verified. Each micro pile received (3) 8x6" #4 re -bars, as -detailed. Each bar was welded with two 1" long vertical welds to the O.D. of the pile. Adhesive anchor installations were witnessed as per detail # 4 of S2.1. The :adhesive used was Simpson Set XP (expiration 8-24-19). Minimum embed depth of 6" was verified. Pre -cleaning and deposition of the epoxy was performed in accordance with the manufacturers printed installation instructions.
